Coats for Christmas
Coats for Christmas of Hancock County originated from the vision of City Dry Cleaning owner, Paul Kramer. In 1987, Kramer developed and launched a service project to provide a warm coat to those in need regardless of financial circumstances.
Each year gently used coats are donated, then cleaned by City Dry Cleaning, then they are distributed to those in need without financial qualification.
Coats in good condition can be donated Monday, November 26th - November 30th at Findlay City Schools and Glenwood Middle School. Other businesses don't start collecting until November 26th. Businesses that would like to contribute to this event may do so, by delivering coats to City Dry Cleaning (Downtown) by November 30th.
There are no financial restrictions when it comes to this event. Anyone that is in need of a coat, hat, or mittens is welcome.
