Pride Month, Community Inclusion, and the Power of Custom Apparel

The Findlay Pride Potluck was created with one goal in mind: cultivating belonging.
Organized entirely by local volunteers, the event provides a welcoming space for people of all identities, ages, and backgrounds to come together in celebration and community support during Pride Month. At a time when many LGBTQ+ individuals continue to face isolation and challenges, the organizers wanted to create an environment centered on joy, inclusivity, and visibility.
Hosted by Findlay Pride, the event serves as the kickoff to a month-long series of Pride-related activities throughout Findlay, including community gatherings, wellness events, social activities, and opportunities to support local businesses that commit to creating welcoming spaces for everyone.
How Custom Pride T-Shirts Turned Inclusion into Visibility
The custom Pride shirts helped transform the event’s vision into something visible and lasting.
The design was created by Cadence Miller, a talented young artist who volunteered her creativity to support Findlay Pride efforts. Her artwork captured the spirit of inclusion and community that organizers wanted to create.
For volunteers, the shirts created a sense of unity and pride during the event. Beyond the potluck itself, the shirts continue to serve as a visible reminder that there are people, businesses, and community members throughout Findlay who continuously commit to ensuring everyone feels welcome and valued.
Every time a volunteer, supporter, or community member wears one of these shirts, the message of inclusion continues to reach new audiences.
Why DTF Printing Was Right for These Pride Shirts
The Pride shirts were produced using Direct-to-Transfer (DTF) printing, a decoration method that creates vibrant, full-color designs with excellent durability. DTF is a great choice for community events and custom apparel because it allows detailed artwork, like the Pride design featured on these shirts, to be reproduced consistently.
